MY SOLICITATION LETTER

Dear Sir/Ma'am:

Greetings!

The Mapúa Concert Singers (MCS) is the official choral group of the Mapúa Institute of Technology. The group has gone to several regional and international activities and has performed countless times on gatherings and functions within and outside the school. The group continues to work for excellence and further accomplishments, carrying with them the name of their Alma Mater and high hopes for distinction and success. Presently, the MCS is under the directorship of Mr. Angelito Enriquez Y Ayran Jr., “Jun Ayran” known by many, a baritone, who earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Music at the University of Santo Tomas, Conservatory of Music in Music Education major in voice under the tutelage of Prof. Irma P.E. Potenciano. He has earned as well his Master of Arts Degree in Music major in Choral Conducting from the same institution.

In connection to this, the group has joined countless competitions and festivals both local and international and will join the 3^rd Orientale Concertus in Taipei, Taiwan on July 9-13, 2010. To date, our entry has been accepted by the Festival Organization.

In view of all these, we would like to seek financial support (if possible before March 8) in our pursuit to win in the competition. We have high hopes in winning the two 3 categories the group will be joining in the said competition; Open Mixed Choir, Chamber choir and Folklore.

SUPPORTING ADMU LAST UAAP SEASON

I've been busy this past few days due to some school works to be finished and all other kinds of stuff. But recently, I've tried to relax and make a break.

This break I have chosen is to watch a live game of the UAAP Season 72 Finals. This are some of the recently taken pictures. Hope you enjoy this...

WORST CASE SCENARIO TO TYPHOON PEPENG AND THE NEW SUPER TYPHOON MELOR

This is the worst case scenario that could happen to both Typhoons Parma (Pepeng) and the stronger one Melor.

Let me explain this to you:
Pepeng is moving towards Taiwan and to the NorthEast direction. On the same time, Super Typhoon Melor is moving towards NorthWest direction. There is a possibility that they will interact with each other and pull one another. If that happens, they might met on the sea near Japan. Because Super Typhoon Melor is stronger than Typhoon Pepeng, it will force Pepeng to move towards the SouthWest direction, and might hit Philippines again directly. If that happens, it would be a Very Major Disaster. Then after it moves across the Philippines, it will turn and move towards the NorthEastern part again and towards the Pacific Ocean again going upwards.

On the otherhand, Typhoon Melor will continue to move upwards on its original direction.
The effect that will cause Pepeng to return and turn is called the "Pinwheel Effect".
